Anti-aromatic fused ring compounds for the synthesis of Progress

Recently, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute has made important progress in the synthesis of novel anti-polycyclic aromatic compounds, the successful synthesis of a new type of anti-polycyclic aromatic compounds. Such anti-polycyclic aromatic compound is an electron acceptor, is expected to become a new field-effect transistor materials.

Flat-type aromatic condensed ring compound trans often lack sufficient stability, needs to be connected to a suitable substituent groups to improve its stability. The researchers in this study found that kind of dihydro pyrrole can be anti-polycyclic aromatic compounds (BBII) oxidation under mild conditions as polycyclic aromatic compounds core structure (DHBBII). The reaction of the aromatic condensed ring compound, even without the stabilizing effect of the substituents can exhibit considerable stability, it decomposes above 250 ℃.(chemicals offer)
