Appearance: white powder or colorless crystalline powder. Melting point 147-149 ℃. Relative density : 1.13g/cm3. Solubility : Soluble in ethanol , acetone , chloroform, insoluble in water . Odorless, tasteless , rapid decomposition in acid solution .
Clotrimazole hydrochloride, m.p. 159 ℃.

Anti- fungal drugs [ 1 ] , for the treatment of skin and deep fungal infections

Clotrimazole
A broad-spectrum anti-fungal effect . Some superficial and deep fungal fungi have antibacterial activity . The main clinical for topical treatment of skin mycosis , such as hand, foot and ringworm , tinea , ear , vaginal mycosis . This product is toxic, orally gastrointestinal reactions , abnormal liver function , and leukopenia . Has been seldom used . Topical no adverse reactions , sometimes local inflammation . Topical 1% to 3% cream ; suppositories.
