Ministry of Commerce and Wacker Polysilicon on exports to China reached a settlement

March 18, Wacker Chemie AG announced that the Ministry of Commerce and China’s exports to China reached a consensus on matters of polysilicon. The two sides signed a relevant agreement in Beijing, details of the agreement were not disclosed.

Wacker promised in the agreement, the agreement is not less than the minimum selling price in the European production base Wacker polysilicon production to China. Chinese Ministry of Commerce accordingly not to impose anti-dumping and countervailing duty Wacker. The agreement on May 1, 2014 shall remain in force until the end of April 2016.
